Course Director
Ritesh Taksande is an Indian filmmaker, media educator, and production professional with over a decade of experience in the industry. He served as a Senior Manager and Producer at the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).
Professional Career and Notable Projects
In his role as a production manager and producer, he has overseen more than 30 projects, including Feature Films, Documentaries, Short Films, and Animated Series.
• Tanvi the Great (Directed by Anupam Kher): Served as an Associate Producer.
• Tara Aur Akash: Served as a Producer.
• Disney’s Planes: Fire & Rescue: Served as a Sequence Producer.
• Shaktimaan: The Animated Series: Served as a Production Manager.
His expertise spans a wide range of formats, from traditional feature films and animation to specialised media such as 360-degree video, virtual reality (VR), and offshore production.
Media Education and Initiatives
Ritesh Taksande is a prominent figure in media education in India:
My First Film: He is the founder and program director of this initiative, which provides a curriculum focused on filmmaking fundamentals, smartphone filmmaking, and mobile journalism. Through this program, he has trained more than 8,000 aspiring filmmakers.
FTII (SKIFT): He has served as a Course Director for the Film and Television Institute of India’s SKIFT initiative, leading workshops on film orientation and mobile journalism across the country.
Advocacy: He is a proponent of using digital technology to democratize filmmaking and has frequently led masterclasses on filmmaking, mobile journalism, and using smartphones as a professional tool for visual storytelling.
Terms & Conditions
1. Registration
- Registration is confirmed only upon successful submission of the registration form and payment (if applicable).
- Participants must provide accurate and complete information.
- The organising committee reserves the right to accept or reject any registration.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must meet the eligibility criteria specified for the event.
- Only for grade 6th to 9th is eligible for the course.
3. Fees & Payments
- Registration fees is ₹ 4500.00, including lunch, which is non-transferable.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable, except in case of event cancellation by the organisers.
- Any applicable taxes or transaction charges shall be borne by the participant.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- No refunds will be provided for participant cancellations.
- In case the event is postponed or rescheduled, registrations will remain valid for the new date.
- If the event is cancelled by the organisers, a refund policy will be communicated accordingly.
5. Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to maintain professional and respectful behaviour throughout the event.
- Any form of misconduct, harassment, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate disqualification without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
- Any content, materials, or presentations shared during the event remain the intellectual property of the organisers or respective speakers.
- Unauthorised recording, distribution, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
7. Media Consent
- By registering, participants grant permission to the organisers to use photographs, videos, or recordings captured during the event for promotional and documentation purposes.
8. Liability
- The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the event.
- Participants attend the event at their own risk.
9. Changes to the Event
- The organisers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, speakers, venue, or format if required due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. No Transportation facility
No transport facility shall be provided by the organizers. Participants are required to arrange their own transportation to and from the venue.11. Seat Availability
Seats for the event are limited to 40 participants and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the capacity is reached, no further registrations shall be accommodated.
12. Agreement
- By registering for the event, the participant agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions stated above.
